Today we celebrate Hinamatsuri, commonly called the festival of dolls that hang out at home by filing dolls "Ohinasama" and the exhibit room to wish the happy future of the children. Dolls put on a special platform with steps represent the characters of the imperial court of the time Heian, so two players who are always placed on the top rung are Emperor and Emperor and then those that are placed on the steps below are three court ladies, five musicians, two ministers and three guards, a total of 15 characters. But obviously it is not necessary purocurarsi the whole series, if they allow the family budget and space of the house includes all 15, if no one can celebrate with two dolls because the dolls are very expensive handmade Japanese. This custom of exposing the craft dolls but it is not very old, was only started in the Edo period, the custom was originally called Hinanagashi whose dolls were much simpler were often made of paper or straw because they were left on the river after having submitted the dirt and impurities that had accumulated on the human body in the hope that these dolls took all accidents. So it was a form of 'ablution which was in early spring, before planting the rice, and then with the passage of time became Hinanagashi Hinamatsuri probably the reason for ecological sanctuaries but some still do. In Kyoto, the shrine Shimogamo you can still see the ancient ceremony to which they invited the Maiko and children that brings fun to the ceremony.
